AAIB strives to play an active role by developing and contributing to the education and health of the youth as well as providing support to cultural and athletic activities. AAIB sponsors extra-curricular educational activities that enhance the academic experience of undergraduate students while deepening their knowledge of banking and financial issues relevant to the Egyptian economy. One of them is the AAIB Award aimed to foster the creative imagination of university students by providing them with the chance to develop new, or improve an existing banking product or service.

AAIB is also funding the renovation of the Abou El Reesh Hospital – Cairo University's Specialized Pediatric Hospital, not only by providing financial support, but also by being involved in the day-to-day developments of the hospital.
